This war we did lose
This war we still fight within our souls
This fight takes over our dreams
Stained with loss we turn the hurt within towards the love we lost
A shiny cage to live inside our broken mind
As Tomorrow melt itself into the night a new war is fought against our self
An endless war in name of freedom
An endless nightmare carrying scars out of dreams
A drop of blood for every loss
As I wake up from slumber and fear
As I stand up inside this cage
As perspective change and sanity wins over
I pledge myself to win over myself
I pledge myself to break out
Without even fully realizing it, I've been yearning for music like this. An abrasive armour of encompassing distortion and harshness that, try as it might, cannot hide the grieving beauty present in this album. Industrial metal (which is in of itself an inadequate description for these songs) has never sounded this compelling or moving. It reminds me somewhat of the uncompromising occult gabber bands that I used to listen to back in the days of mp3 dot com. Ben Harris
